I have been making jewellery professionally since 1985 starting with a modest collection working with brass, silver and semi-precious beads. In 1987 I created a new collection using copper and brass together, this combination developed a beautiful oxidization that become my signature as a contemporary jeweller. I sold my work in prestigious galleries i.e. Liberty’s of London, Lesley Craze, Cecilia Coleman Gallery & many others throughout the country. My preference was attending large craft events such as Living Crafts Hatfield, Art in Action, Waterperry Oxford, Royal Cornwall Show etc. Currently I run a small contemporary craft event in the well-heeled town of Stockbridge, Hampshire. My influence as a maker has always been the natural world, seen and unseen. Along with the inspiration I draw upon from the materials I use, such as brass, copper, sterling silver, gold and authentic Cornish precious & semi-precious gem stones. I endeavour every year to create a new collection, and this year being no exception, I launch my new work in June at the Royal Cornwall Show.
